5.12 California Constitution
You can also get the
text of the California Constitution. The California Constitution
sets forth the fundamental laws by which the State of California is
governed. The Constitution is grouped into subject matter areas known
as Articles. Each Article is organized by headings and section
numbers.
The California Constitution is accessible from the
Legislative Counsel Bureau (leginfo.public.ca.gov) where it is
contained in the constitution directory (/pub/constitution). The
constitution directory contains two files. One file contains the
complete text of the California State Constitution, and the second file
contains a Table of Contents. The Table of Contents file contains
Article headings and corresponding section numbers that will assist you
in locating the specific Constitution section.
