5.6 Governor's Veto Messages

When the governor vetoes a bill, it is cusotomary for the governor to return the bill to the house of origin (Assembly or Senate) with a cover letter detailing the reasons for the veto. Those messages are stored along with other documents relating to a bill. You may access them using the same methods you would use to access Bill Text, Analyses, etc. See Section 5.1 Bill Text
The name of the file containing the veto message is always: VETO.TXT (or VETO.WRI)
